I reference the recent release of NG-ABIS, which provides the Biometrics Task Force to run at a higher "lights out" level of operations. "Lights out" means that through the use of multi-modality and fusion we are able to run at a higher rate of automated identification of an individual that wouldn’t require the need for human intervention to do a biometric examination. With the new system you have a much faster turn around time and greater scale capability to provide results. I’m not aware of any other system in the world today that has this capability in production that is supporting and enabling the warfighter.
